Q1: How to download Rossmax Healthstyle App?
A: User can download free Rossmax Healthsyle App in Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
Q2: How to set up new account?
A: It is recommended to set up your permanent account using contact number or email address. Alternatively, user can also log in as a guest or using Facebook account.
Q3: Why is it not recommended to sign in as a guest?
A: If users sign in as a “guest”, he/she will not have the privilege to use “Caring Friends” to share their readings to 3rd parties. For example, you cannot share your result to your family doctor and friends. We recommend that you create your own account.
Q4: Can Rossmax bluetooth devices connect with other health App?
A: No, all Rossmax bluetooth devices can only sync or connect with the Rossmax Healthstyle App.
Q5: How secure is my information against unauthorized access?
A: All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers. Any data transfer will be encrypted using Secured Sockets Layer technology (SSL). Your own password enables you to access the Service and you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. It is not recommended to share your password to anyone.
Q6: Will customer’s personal information be disclosed through Rossmax Healthstyle App?
A: Users can go through the terms and privacy agreement before they agree to use the Rossmax Healthstyle App. We cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the Service; any transmission is at your own risk.
Q7: Can Rossmax Healthstyle App records blood pressure reading for 2 users?
A: During registration procedure, only one account per person is created. Hence, the other user should download the Rossmax Healthstyle App using his/her own phone. One app can only accommodate 1 user.
Q8: How many users can use / connect the same blood pressure monitor?
A: Unlimited users / accounts can bind to the same blood pressure monitor as long as users download the Rossmax Healthstyle App on their own mobile phones.
Q9: How many devices (same / different models) can we pair in Rossmax Healthstyle App?
A: Customers can pair as many Rossmax bluetooth devices as they wish. For instance, customers can pair with 20 Rossmax Bluetooth Blood Pressure Monitor using the same app but cannot use at the same time.
Q10: How many readings can the Rossmax Healthstyle App record?
A: The app can record as much reading as it depends on the phone storage.
Q11: How many times do we need to bind our device to the Rossmax Healthstyle App?
A: You only have to bind the device once. Once that particular device is connected, consumers do not have to bind the device to the app again.
Q12: How to turn off Bluetooth in ROSSMAX Bluetooth Blood Pressure Monitor if user insist to turn it off?
A: The factory setting of Bluetooth function is ON as default. If you plan not to utilise the Bluetooth function, you can always turn it OFF. After setting up the machine’s date and time, the Bluetooth symbol will appear next. The screen will display ON and consumers can simply press the M button to change it to OFF. However, it is not recommended to switch the Bluetooth off since it is one of the main features for ROSSMAX Bluetooth Blood Pressure Monitor.
Q13: Why can’t measurements be auto synced into Rossmax Healthstyle App when the Bluetooth function is turned ON?
A: User needs to open the app and Bluetooth at the same time to keep their result.
Q14: What do these colours indicate?
A: Any colour changes observed indicate abnormal reading and you may consult your doctor for the interpretation of results.
Q15: Can we change the unit of measurement or threshold value for each health parameters?
A: Users can make changes at Settings and select the health parameter you wish to alter. (Example, change Celsius to Fahrenheit). However, it is not recommended for customers to edit the unit of measurement unless he/ she is being told so by a healthcare professional. Rossmax Healthstyle App has pre-set recommended threshold value as default.
Q16: Can user delete their health data?
A: Can, users can go to the health data page, select by pressing on the unwanted data then swipe left and delete option will appears. If users want to delete all results, he/she can do so by going to their profile and click “clear all data”
Q17: How to add friends in “Caring Friends”?
A: Go to the setting section in “Caring Friends” and click on the add friend icon on the top right corner of the phone. User will need to scan either QR code or key in the ID number from another user / user’s profile (QR code and ID number can be found in the profile section).
Q18: How to accept a friend request?
A: Users need to go to setting section in “Caring Friends” and check on followings list to accept or reject a friend request. Once he/she accepts the request, then only the user can view the friend’s blood pressure reading. If the friend also wants to view user blood pressure readings, he/she also needs to add the user as a friend, then only both parties can view each other blood pressure readings.
Q19: How to follow a friend when you are remote from each other?
A: You can share your screenshot QR code by Whatsapp and ask your friend to add you by clicking “load from photo library” in your phone and select the QR Code screenshot. Alternatively, share your Rossmax account ID number and ask them to ‘key in’ at the ID search bar.
Q20: Can we unfriend followers?
A: User can choose to either stop following or stop sharing blood pressure readings to the friend. Go to “Caring Friends” management page and choose to either unfollow or stop sharing their results. Both parties will not be able to view the results once being unfriend.
Q21: Can Rossmax Healthstyle App’s readings be transferred to PC?
A: At the moment, data from Rossmax Healthstyle App cannot be transferred to PC. Customers can only view the result via app.
Q22: What happens if I change a new hp/ tablet/ ipad etc? Will all the previous readings be transferred if I were to log in using the same account?
A: As long as end user log in to the same account (Example, using same handphone number/ same facebook account/ same email) all the records from the account will remain unchanged. Changing device won’t affect the data stored under that particular account.
